About Dr. Marc Tennant

Dr. Marc Tennant fell in love with chiropractic through his own treatment experience after a motorcycle accident early in his adult life. As he recovered from the accident, he discovered his future. He admired the notion of doctors and patients participating in treatment as a team.

“I don’t fix anybody. I help the body help itself.”

Dr. Tennant studied pre-chiropractic at Wichita State University and then went on to Davenport, Iowa to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1979. He is also Certified in Applied Clinical Nutrition from Texas Chiropractic College, has taken many post graduate classes at Washburn University, and has taken courses at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a past member of the Kansas Chiropractic Association Insurance Review Committee.

Dr. Tennant has been practicing in Topeka, Kansas, since 1982, and is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tennant enjoys golf and watching KU Athletic events. He has four sons and four grandchildren. His wife, Debbie, works at Tennant Chiropractic Clinic as well.

Good Faith Policy

You have the right to receive a good faith estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services:

  • You have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a good faith estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider and any other provider you choose for a good faith estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your good faith estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a good faith estimate, visit cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059
